KOLT Kautokeino gathers artists from different arts and cultures. One of the focuses of KOLT Kautokeino is to gather Sami artists, north Norwegian artists and international artists. KOLT Kautokeino will happen in connection to the Sámi Easter Festival.
KOLT Kautokeino beginnings in evening on the 15th of April when all are presented and get practical information. Then, participants will have 1-day workshop where they will hold presentations about themselves, gain insight into Kolts philosophy, become better acquainted with the other participants and be led through various practical tasks. On Sunday to Wednesday, participants have the opportunity to work in groups as they want. On Thursday the participants will prepare to show their artwork to the public in KOLT Platform. Friday and Saturday are open to the public. On Saturday we have the evaluation and conclusion. Sunday travel home.

KOLT Kautokeino is held in connection with the Sámi Easter festival and will open the two last days for the public. KOLT Platform´s program consists of projects that the participants have created during the Kolt-week and finished work they have brought with them. If you want to bring a already finished piece as a part of KOLT Platform you must notified this in your application. Read more about the prerequisites in Practical information.
